Today the Fire Department and EMS went for a drive to wish Teagan a very Happy Birthday. Happy Birthday Teagan!!!!

The Deloraine Fire Department would like to wish everyone a safe and happy Christmas Season and A Happy New Year.

Tonight we were able to catch up to Donald Noe just as he was finishing up his wheat. We presented him with a cheque for the money raised from the online/Sunrise Credit Union benefit that was set up for him. We would like to thank everyone who generously helped us out by donating to this cause. Losing everything in a house fire is devastating and we wish Donald all the best moving forward.

The Fire Department and EMS stopped by to wish Nixon a Happy Birthday today and while we were there we were able to wish Megan a Happy Birthday as well. Happy Birthday to both of you!!!

Tonight the Fire Department and EMS helped Charles celebrate his Birthday. Happy Birthday Charles !!! Once again we would like to thank the Co-Op for helping us by supplying the gift bags Doug Morningstar for supplying the metal for the signs and Brandt VanCauwenberghe for making the signs.

**UPDATE** This Friday Sept. 11 we will be shutting the down the benefit account for Donald Noe at 12 noon. We appreciate the generosity and support of everyone in times like this.... BENEFIT FOR DONALD NOE . On Wednesday August 26, the Fire Department got called out to a structure fire at 11:40 pm at Donald Noe’s farm. Upon arrival we realized his house was totally engulfed in flames and we were able to extinguish it but the damage sustained by the fire is beyond repair. Unfortunately everything Donald had in the house was destroyed in the fire. We are reaching out to the community and surrounding area to help us get Donald back on his feet. In the past the Deloraine Fire Department has always put on benefits to help people who have lost property due to fire. Unfortunately because of Covid-19, we are unable to do a traditional steak fry/benefit evening for Donald. With that being said, we have set up a benefit account for him at the Sunrise Credit Union in Deloraine and are asking people for their support by making a donation to help cover some of the cost to replace items that were not covered by insurance. Anyone wishing to drop off cheques can do so at Sunrise Credit Union, Bill Astle’s D & M Motors, Avonlea Farm Sales Deloraine. Tonight we helped Liv celebrate her birthday. First one we’ve done in the dark and it was still only 5:00 o’clock.

Last night we went out to Janet & Gaston Breemersch’s. We presented them with a cheque for the money that was raised during our online/Sunrise Credit Union benefit. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that donated to the Breemersches and we wish them all the best during the rebuild and recovery process.

We were thrilled to stop by Elizabeth’s to wish her a very happy birthday. Gramma Bev wasn’t on duty but she wouldn’t have missed it!! HaPpY BirThDaY ELIZABETH!!

Our last day of doing the drive by birthdays we stopped at Nevin’s to help him celebrate his birthday. HaPpY BirThDaY NEVIN!!
