Minutes November 2nd, 2015 Absent:... Natasha (Club) Ramizah Motion The haunted house is to be bigger next year, and the stage is to be improved. Passed: Unanimous Motion $50 is to be allocated to the GSA for the acoustic cafe. Passed: Unanimous Motion There are currently three ideas for the upcoming semi-formal: a specific color theme, glow in the dark, or a masquerade theme. We also have the option of simply not having a theme. Passed: Unanimous Motion Since Ella's is closing, the current idea for semi-formal is the Brighton. As a last resort, the semi formal is to be held at a restaurant or community center. Passed: Unanimous Motion All is food is to be halal at semi formal. Tickets will be a maximum price of $45. Passed: Unanimous Motion: $100 shall be withheld from all clubs until Heather's approval. All events/activities must be approved from Katie before taking place. Passed: Unanimous Motion: October 29th is to be the first spirit day of the year; Halloween Spirit Day. Survey to be conducted on Facebook page on which spirit days students want. Passed: Unanimous Motion: On Monday, October 26th, S.A.C is to hold a pancake breakfast which will serve pancakes, fruit, chocolate milk, and juice. Mishal is to look for pumpkin shaped "cookie cutter". Terri is to find out prices for juices. Passed: Unanimous Motion: On Tuesday, October 17th, S.A.C is to show cartoons in the student lounge starting at 10:00. Popcorn is to be served.
