I am feeling grateful with the support from friends, family and the community. Looking forward to seeing some of you tomorrow and pictures of others. A huge thank you to everyone that has donated during these difficult times. We raised almost $2,500. A big thank you to Delta Firefighters For the donation, I am So grateful to live in a beautiful community. I hope to raise more awareness on Sunday as we walk around Tsawwassen. We are all going through difficult and strange times. Daily struggles, anxiety, depression, many mixed emotions. I have gone back and forth on this and have decided that I must move forward and continue fighting the fight against MS. Charities are also struggling and now is the time they need our support. I hope you can join me on May 31 for a Virtual MS Walk in your neighbourhood, in your backyard, at your local school etc. Get involved, take a picture and send it to me so I can post it. We are facing a global COVID -19 outbreak. This is impacting so many people and so many Canadians. We need to support our support workers and stay healthy and stay home. We will be postponing the 8th annual McCallums Miles for MS Delta Walk until further notice. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who had donated already as those living with MS are still struggling and will continue to do so as many charities and businesses have been impacted by this economic disaster. I will still be accepting donations on behalf of the MS society BC chapter. The important thing is to stay home, stay healthy & support your community .
