New Winter Hours!

DEADLINE: OCT 10th TO REDEEM .20 REFUNDS As of October 1, all large beverage containers (over 1 L) now have a 10 cent deposit (previously 20 cents)! You have a grace period to redeem your large containers for the full 20 cent refund through this Saturday, October 10 at the Denman Island Bottle Depot. ... After that, every ready-to-drink non-dairy beverage container in BC will have the universal deposit of 10 cents. Open Wednesday and Thursday from 2 - 7 pm and Saturday 9 am - 5 pm.

PILOT PROJECT Starting Wednesday, July 29 through the end of this year, Denman Island customers of the Bottle Depot will no longer have to separate pop and beer cans!! Put them together in flats and spare yourself the hassle of having to separate for the next five months at least!! Wowza!

The Recycling and Bottle Depot are closing as of today (March 20th, 2020). All recycling facilities in the Comox Valley are now closed. Pigeon Lake (the dump in Cumberland) remains open.

Denman Residents - Garbage will be picked up on Wednesday, July 1. CONFIRMED! (Though the Recycling Centre and Bottle Depot will be closed! They will be open Thursday from 2 - 7 p.m.)

We are now accepting bicycle tires and tubes for recycling! Please drop off during our hours of operation (Wednesdays & Thursdays 2 - 7 pm and Saturdays 9 am - 5 pm)
