We are very lucky to have Nick our son back guiding for us this summer. Last week he returned from Guiding Ron and Kathy starting at our place at 4005 East Road. They paddled around Chrome Island lighthouse off the southern tip of Denman and crossed over to Toby island to have a snack and stretch their legs. They paddled back to The Thatch/ferry dock on Hornby in glassy conditions. I appreciated their enthusiasm over the quality of our equipment which we take great pride in and spend many hours washing every drop of salt off. Denman Hornby Canoes and Kayaks Ltd. is resilient! Our 2020 season has started out slow and with caution. Most of our business has been loyal returning paddlers. We continue to enjoy giving lessons to the locals who can get a whole different feel from the water. Our tours continue to be chosen by people enjoying Hornby and comparing us to other paddling options there. We enjoy the mix of locals, their friends and family and guests experiencing our beautiful islands for the first time. Thanks for your support, we are here for you summer and fall 2020!
