Happy International Human Rights Day! In Denmark, most human rights are secured by the Danish constitution as well as international conventions and treaties. But Danish society is also committed to promoting human rights internationally. During recent years, Denmark has been particularly engaged in the fight to end the use of torture and is considered a world leader in this matter. Denmark might be a small country, but there is a strong belief that we can make a difference ...in the world by setting a good example.
