The new normal for pharmacy or grocery store runs. Who knew being an avid seamstress would come in handy during a pandemic? If we have to wear them I figure they might as well be colourful, fun and pretty!

A quick but enriching trip down to Victoria in December. So many pretty lights in the city and beautiful things found in Craigdarroch Castle. The greatest craftspeople of the time - the late 1800’s - created amazing pieces of art and embellishments for this stately home. Always an inspiring place to venture into.

Just finished this 12x12 painting, oil on canvas for the Squared gallery show in February 2019. Entitled, Total West Coast Canadian, it represents our blue grey ocean, a popular local beverage found in almost every home, the discarded bottle becoming weathered and barnacled over time, and some local vegetation, a bouquet of Salal which is found growing abundantly throughout our province. All canvases in the Squared Show will be for sale for the same very reasonable price. Check it out in February!

Posting something a bit creative just for the sake of it. I’ve been cleaning out my studio for several weeks so I have space in which to work. I’m itching to paint but absolutely must clear away old clutter first. The recent snow has inspired me, so my first new work will likely be a study on that.......
