It’s what people say about your business behind your back. It is a promise delivered. It is value received. Your brand is everything and everything is brand! ... Your brand is your people, your facilities, your communication tools, the way you speak, your calls to action, your messaging, your overall strategy and yes, your logo and visuals too. I think this is a great quote by Jacob Cass @justcreative. According to him, design is solving a problem with intent. If you’re designing something without purpose, without strategic thinking, without a brief what you’re creating, is simply art. As a business owner you need to know what your GOALS are, before you begin producing. ... Are you trying to: - Motivate purchasing? - Build awareness? - Create an emotional connection with your consumer? - Differentiate your offering from your competitors? - Create credibility and trust? What strategy are you using to achieve these goals? Do you know how your brand is positioned? How are you connecting with your customers on an emotional level? What differentiates you from what is already out there? What beliefs do your customers have that align with your brand? Is this being communicated? Answering these questions will give your brand’s message more clarity to better connect with your audience, which will help achieve your set out goals.
