We are COLLECTING TOYS for the Soup Kitchen Foundation to create brighter #smiles Xmas morning and YOU can help us too. I personally know what it means to not have a lot growing up as a child. My mom always did everything in her power to provide the most she could when my sisters and I were little. I truly thank her for everything. I really have the best mom. I remember community friends giving a helping hand in times of need and their support brightened certain ...holidays. Yesterday my boys and I dropped off some clothing at the The Table Soup Kitchen and as we drove away my oldest said he wanted to help people more. I’ve always strived to teach them to help others when possible. It’s my way of giving back from when I was a little girl. Knowing that 2020 has been a year unlike no other and many families in our area could use a little help we are officially collecting toys to help local families. All received donated items will be donated to the Table Soup Kitchen as we approach Xmas. So to kick start our collection, I took my oldest shopping and told him to pick out a couple items that he thinks a child his age might enjoy Xmas morning. And this is what he picked out. I’ll do the same with my youngest next week. Once again this year we will also be collecting oral health care products for our Oral Health Sock collection too. More on that in another post.
