I think the dental office is the safest place you can go. Does anyone else feel the same way?

Here's a great science project for the kids! What you need... Primary teeth (baby teeth) that the tooth fairy has left behind for this project... When you have five or six you are ready to tackle the science lab. The more you have the more fun it can be. Choose types of drinks: Water is the control in this experiment: Juices, soda, seltzer, diet soda, lemonade, ice tea, Snapple drinks, milk, tonic water, coffee, fruit punches, wine, or beer, etc Take some glasses and fill them up halfway with each type of drink you choose. Water has to be one of them Add one tooth to each glass. Make up a chart to indicate the drink and the number of days a tooth has been in them I would check the teeth at 5-day intervals. Every five days take the teeth out and study them. Take a look at them. Judge the color, the hardness, and the shape. Note any changes you see on your chart. Keep this up for 4 weeks or so. Note all changes you see. As you judge them and review them with the time you will of course notice many changes. See what products change the teeth the most and I bet you will be surprised. What you thought would be bad may in fact not be. Have fun, and enjoy it. Teachers love this project during February dental health month. I did it with my residents years ago and it was one of their favorite things to study.
Patients please understand that no conversation should be had without our masks on when in the dental office.

Caring for your Oral Health during the pandemic.
I AM NOT JUST A TEETH CLEANER. I am a prevention specialist. I am a highly educated healthcare provider. I do not just clean your teeth. I have trained extensi...vely to perform a technique-sensitive procedure that prevents, reduces, or eliminates an inflammatory response that affects every system of your body. I do not spend my day showing kids how to brush giant models of teeth with a giant toothbrush. I reduce your chances of Alzheimers, heart disease, and stroke. I dont scrape teeth with tools. I increase your chances of being able to eat a healthy diet for the rest of your life. I am ranked the number one healthcare provider to be at risk for COVID-19. I wouldnt put myself in this kind of harms way so you could simply have your teeth flossed or a whiter smile today. It is because I know the impact of your oral health to your overall health. I am a Registered Dental Hygienist. ***#repost*** Written by Kandice Swarthout
