We are getting very excited for the opportunity to welcome you back! The safety of our patients and our team are at the forefront of our preparation. Please have patience with us as we embark on a GRADUAL return to work which will involve continued Emergency Dental Treatment. Urgent Dental Treatment and overdue Essential Hygiene Treatment. Our office has always utilized Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that has exceeded all the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columb...ia (CDSBC) Guidelines in the past. However, in light of the COVID-19 Pandemic, we have instituted additional Guidelines and Protocols to ensure the safety of everyone. Although we have been preparing and training behind the scenes since our shutdown in March, we are still awaiting PPE and Office Protective Equipment (OPE) before we can officially open. To Our Loyal Patients, It has been a challenging time for everyone and we hope you and your families are staying safe and well. We very much miss our daily interactions with you all and servicing your dental needs and wishes. Our Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Bonnie Henry and the BC Dental Association (BCDA) are still strongly advising against dental services that require direct physical contact with patient unless life-threatening.... At present we are managing dental emergencies over the phone. We value every one of our patients and promise to always keep your best interests in mind. At this critical time in the fight against COVID-19, there are more risks to you than benefits for coming into the dental office, especially at the moment, as dentists do not have access to enough adequate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Hospitals are the priority as our Frontline healthcare providers. We are still here for you. We are working very hard to manage all your concerns over the phone.
