Dear Patients of Dentistry in Springdale: Our office has and always will strive to keep our patients and team members healthy by offering high quality dental care. At this time, we are seeing patients only by appointments - for regular cleaning and other treatments, but visiting us is going to be a little different than it was before the pandemic. ... Patients will be asked COVID-19 screening questions over the phone before their appointment and asked to wait in their car till we are ready to take them in. Your temperature will be taken with a touchless infrared thermometer and you will be required to wear a mask, upto just before the procedure. We are going to be seeing fewer patients per day than we used to, and appointments could take more time. It’s been almost 12 weeks since people have been able to see the dentist, and some are in greater need right now. We’re asking for everyone’s patience and understanding. We also want to update you on the safety measures we take to protect the health and safety of our patients and staff: We have a stringent hand washing routine, use of alcohol based handrub and PPE use policy. Along with our usual infection control standards, we are taking additional measures to keep our patients healthy, and free of concern. We also are disinfecting critical and high traffic surfaces (doorknobs, chairs, equipment, tables, shelves, countertops, bathrooms, etc.). We kindly ask any patients who are currently experiencing the following symptoms to call and reschedule their appointments: Fever Cough Shortness of Breath Chills Have been exposed to the flu, cold or COVID-19 Have travelled outside of Canada within the last 14 days. If you are experiencing any of the above listed symptoms, and need emergency dental care, please call your local ER as they are better equipped do serve you while also helping to contain the COVID-19 virus. We look forward to serving you safely!
