The Chief Medical Officer of Health has advised the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario that Health Care Providers are permitted to gradually restart deferred and non-essential and elective services. Pediatric Oral Health & Dentistry will reopen soon. Dr Ari and Dr Friedman and all the staff thank you for your understanding and patience the last 2 months and look forward to welcoming you back. We have all the necessary PPE and we have installed special Hepa Filters a...nd Nocospray room disinfectants and dividers to maximise safety. We also have new protocols to limit exposure and request only one adult accompany the patient and wear masks at all time in the building. Before coming to your appointment please complete the Covid-19 pre-screen form on our website www.pohd.ca and submit it electronically. To our valued patients, parents and friends, As you all know, we are still restricted to seeing only emergency patients in our office. During this time, we made some changes in order to get ready for the possible opening date. We removed the carpet flooring in our waiting room and replaced it with hygienic floors. An other change in the waiting room is room dividers to manage social distancing while waiting for your appointment. We also placed HEPA filters around the clinic... to clean the air and make it safer for everyone. Nowadays, we see plexiglass barriers everywhere and our office is no exception - we installed plexiglass barriers to our front desk area. Finally, we are the first dental office in London area using Nocospray device in treatment areas. Nocospray is Hydrogen Peroxide vapour that disinfects all hard surfaces achieving >6 log (99.9999%) reduction of infectious organisms including Clostridium difficile (C. diff), Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and Norovirus. We cannot wait to see all our patients again but in the meantime please stay safe and stay healthy. See more
