Just when you thought the new Asiga Pro4K couldnt surprise you, it added this beautiful new feature, Ive had an amazing experience with the new Pro4K, and fro...m what Ive tested with it, its hands down one of the best if not the best printer out there. I had the opportunity to test the new multi-layered thickness prints, I wanted to test it on a multi stacked print with Multi-layered thickness, but its finished a whole build before I can even build up enough models lol, Ill throw pictures of how it will work with both multi stacking and just a regular plate. Itll increase the speed beyond just hitting fast print model, and Ive tested it for about a week now and its as smooth and as accurate as it can be. This thing is a monster. These pictures will help any of you to figure out how this works, itll go step by step (probably lol not sure how the pictures will upload) and if you have any question please let me know. Dentology by Abutment Direct, Minh Tran Mark Welch, this was the thing I was talking about! in advance sorry for the huge amount of info, couldn't take a video like I wanted but i couldn't contain myself to not post this! All you have to do is go to the Advanced Parameters, add 1 or 2 Ranges or a couple more if you are planning on Multi-Stacking the build. then under "1", switch your Slice Thickness to .100, to speed the build, click the Print Range to * and change that to where you want it to start printing at .050 Microns, now this step is pretty important, so be cautious not to have the .100 microns go over the margin of any die, I made sure to look around the build plate and see which was at the lowest point which turned out to be 11.200, the amazing thing about this is, when you switch the number, click the tab above it and it'll show you where its cutting to and from, so you can adjust this as needed. From this point on to Range 2, you want to switch the Slice Thickness back to .050. on a standard note it fixes the "Print Range From" to where it needs to be when you adjust the Range on 1. When this is all set and done, when you send it to your printer, its gonna get 3 - 4 builds quoted in (1)(2) or (3) etc. click the one that says the build name you gave it, then from here you want to hit continuous build and make sure to not click turn off after the build is done because the first burn in layer will finish within about 2-4 minutes, then start the next build which are the Ranges we input into the build, this is how it manages to print in multiple Thickness layers , have it continue the build and you are set to go! Also I would recommend you change the Burn in "Slice Thickness" or "Range" and I recommend printing directly onto the plate itself while doing this method but to each their own. I just love this machine and wanted to share this experience with everyone . Doing this method cut the time it took to print by about 30 minutes, mind you I haven't clicked separation detect on., with that on I could have saved another 20 minutes. I'll also supply pictures of the multiistacking Parameters/MultiLayered Thickness, if any of you were curious to see how I would implement this!
