Our patients are our inspiration and our motivation, and we are so excited to be recognized for the great care we provide to them.

This week is infection control week. Did you know that gums under a denture should be cleaned on a daily basis and the mouth rinsed after meals? Areas of focus should also be given to brushing the roof of the mouth, floor of the mouth, tongue and cheek. Cleaning stimulates the gums and helps keep them firm and less likely to harbor the micro-organisms which may lead to irritation or infections.

Is your Thanksgiving feast good for your teeth? As you sit down with your friends and family for a holiday meal consider avoiding these thanksgiving foods for a healthy smile: sticky or sugary desserts, cranberry sauce, coffee, soft drinks. If you want a happy holiday season enjoy healthier alternatives: pumpkin seeds, fish, Brazil nuts, red meat, eggs, tofu, broth, celery, apples, cucumbers, carrots.
