WHEN I AM AMONG THE TREES by Mary Oliver When I am among the trees, especially the willows and the honey locust,... equally the beech, the oaks and the pines, they give off such hints of gladness. I would almost say that they save me, and daily. I am so distant from the hope of myself, in which I have goodness, and discernment, and never hurry through the world but walk slowly, and bow often. Around me the trees stir in their leaves and call out, Stay awhile. The light flows from their branches. FALL ZOOM YOGA CLASSES BEGIN SEPTEMBER 15 Tuesday September 15 to Tuesday December 8 Thursday Sept 17 to Thursday December 10 13 weeks... $195 1 class per week $350 for 2 classes per week (20% discount on 2nd class) Please call 250-755-9557 for information or to reserve a space. There will be different class designs / sequences on the 2 days. Recordings will be available for missed classes so you can do the class with the recording any time that’s convenient for you. Classes emphasize healthy breathing, increased flexibility, ease of movement, balance, strength and relaxation. Classes include warm-up practices, basic and moderate postures and close with restorative relaxation. All levels welcome. Each person is encouraged to work at their own level with modifications offered. Enjoy the benefits of yoga with a supportive and friendly teacher.
