One thing that is top of mind when I design any custom home is the outside surroundings. Whether you are in a bush, on the water whatever the case may be, it is so important to bring the outside in and take full advantage of the natural setting! This custom home sits inside 25 acres of hardwood bush with perfect viewing of all four seasons so it was a must to create the perfect space and bring nature in. With the high ceiling and the modern barn theme I got to be very creati...ve. I added upper barn loft doors, an original hay trolly with forks and an antique wooden ladder to compliment the high wall and made a custom coffee table out of barn beams from the 1800’s.
