New research shows e-cigarettes increased the risk of lung disease by one-third compared with people who never smoked or vaped. Much more needs to be done by @OntarioPCParty to ban vaping in Ontario @lungstatus

The Ontario Government needs to take stronger measures to implement a full ban on vaping products in response to rising rates of youth vaping. In the United States, 47 deaths have been attributed to vaping, and 2,000 cases of severe lung disease have been reported.

Here is a short video for Conservative Party members of Dufferin-Caledon that explains how a ranked-choice ballot system works at the July 31 Nomination Meeting. It is important to remember that your first choice candidate (and in the case of the video, your first choice of colour) stays with that candidate as long as they are on the ballot. Also, you have the option to vote for as few or as many candidates that you would like. Rank your choices in numerical order by placing ...a number ‘1’ by your first choice, a number ‘2’ by your second choice and so on. Please make sure you mark your ballot with a 1, 2, 3, or 4 to ensure it is counted! Ranked-choice voting ensures that candidates with the most votes and broadest support win. In addition, Party members only have to vote one time by ranking their preferred choices on the same ballot. Most importantly, we would like to encourage you to have your voice heard by voting on July 31st at the Orangeville Agricultural Society- Event Centre (247090 5th Side Rd, Mono, ON L9W 6K5) from 5 to 9 pm. Dufferin-Caledon Conservative Members, This is your last chance to VOTE for our new Conservative candidate on July 31. Less than half our membership voted on March 19 at the first Nomination Meeting and many of you were displeased with the results. This is your call to action to stand up and have your vote count this time. No excuses. Just vote or history could repeat itself.
