Got invited to audition for another audio book. 8 1/2 hours of pure Science Fiction goodness. Also, it's the first book of a series, so there may be further opportunities with the same author. Wish me luck!

And just like that, I'm back at work. A client I haven't done work for in over a year just contacted me out of the blue and needs me to do my voice over magic on a fairly regular basis. It's nice to be valued.

With only two chapters left to record on this book, the smoke detector in the hallway behind my studio hasn't stopped beeping every 45 seconds since about 6:15 this morning. Arrgh. Today is a wash.

Got invited to audition for another audio book. This one deals with a topic that is adjacent to one of the topics I swore I would never produce. So, I'm not sure what to do. It's a topic that I flat-out don't believe in. I'll have to read the book to make a fully informed decision. I don't like turning down work but I do like having integrity.
