Thank you to all my new and old time customers. I thank you for sharing your special occasions and everyday experiences with me. My 47 years of Desart have given me joy, anguish, patience, happiness, trust and opportunity. For all of these emotions I thank you. Your continuing support of Desart and Osborne Village have been my priveledge to embrace. My time as a shop keeper for Desart has come to a close but, the Village is still strong and active. Attention all RETAILERS: The time has come, and we're coming to an end with cleaning up the store. We have some leftover retailer supplies, and retailer fixtures. And we would like to know if there are any retailers who may be interested in picking some of it up. If interested, please call the store at 204-284-0823. Tomorrow is our last day of being open to the public! And its all on sale! We are open from 10am-8pm for your shopping convenience! Also, STREET FEST!!!! ... HAPPY CANADA DAY CELEBRATIONS! HAVE FUN AND KEEP IT SAFE!

Just a reminder to everyone... Osborne Street Fest is this Wednesday. Which means a few things... 1) It's Canada Day! And it is always a great time down here, thanks to the Osborne Village biz for organizing it! There are all kinds of activities to do down here for any age, and any interest! ... 2) Osborne street will be blocked off starting tomorrow sometime around dinner we believe. And it will stay that way until early Thursday morning. So, if you are coming down to hang out and participate... ride your bike, or take the bus! It's so convenient! And if you do have to drive, the re-routes should be easy as well! 3) It is our very last day of being open to the public. Ever. This will be the day that we lock our doors for good, after 47 years of helping Winnipeggers find that perfect little something!!! So, as you can see, Wednesday is kind of a big deal around these parts! We intend on celebrating it all! We hope to see all your beautiful faces! Just one last time! We also still have awesome treats at awesome prices!!!! Everybody wins!
