Design on a DIME

This was a home that was STAGED and sold in 1 DAY!!! Didn't buy anything new - just got rid of some clutter and switched around some furniture. DESIGN ON A DIME!!!

This year I decided to dress our dining room table as part of my holiday decor. It’s beginning to look like Christmas in our home. It’s important to appreciate the things that make us happy. For me it’s all things decor even in these unprecedented times.

Inspired. For the past few months I’ve been working on a project that is an expansion of my current side business. I’ve had the pleasure of working with an amazing family who are trusting me with their custom designed home. From windows to hinges to brick and cabinetry. This is an 18 month partnership and we just solidified this this weekend. I can’t wait to break ground and will provide updates as we go but for now this is a sneak peak of the actual home that started with a sketch from the architect. #tashalincolndesigns #interiordesign

DIY Sunday. Fall planters all done on a dime. Did my usual stop at Dollarama for some inexpensive fake florals and took some evergreens from around the yard and went to town. #designonadime

So IKEA has some great inexpensive products that are perfect for a hack. Hubs had a great idea to turn this spare dresser into a makeup vanity for a small closet nook. I was hesitant at first as I didn’t want it to look Mickey mouse but I was amazed and absolutely pleased with the turnout. #ikeahack #hemnesdresser #quarantinelife @ Tyandaga, Ontario

Minor changes to our laundry room. Once again- we are slowly getting rid of popcorn ceiling. Decided after hubs scraped the ceiling to cover it with some excitement. A lil mosaic never hurt no one. I had an idea to bring back vinyl tiles from my childhood. Love
