Position: Design Assistant to the Creative Director... Start Date: Immediately Location: Brampton, ON, Canada Qualifications: High School Diploma, WPICC and CSEP preffered (but not essential) Overview: -executive assistant to the Creative Director -manage clients, schedules/calendars, vendors/suppliers, speaking engagements, etc. for Creative Director -act as first point of communication with all clients, responding to new client inquiries within 45 minutes -participate in all design meetings with Creative Director -prepare design proposals, quotations, and design briefs -participate/attend industry events/conferences/trade shows -contribute to the Design2Decor blog/social media outlets Responsibilities: -BE POSITIVE!! -be very personable and customer service oriented -organized and extremely detail oriented -proactive, independant -have an eye for great design and spatial planning -basic floral design knowledge/training -have the ability to effectively communicate event design/decor concepts to prospective clients -extensive knowledge of the events industry -demonstrate a willingness to grow with the company and represent the Design2Decor brand with the utmost of excellence -posess an excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint) -posess an excellent command of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, or Google SketchUp (preferred, but not essential) Please forward salary expectations for our review.
