When a favorite song & and an 6 foot piece of barn wood come together! This was a gift and I’ve been patiently waiting to show you all this beautiful sign! I had a request for a favorite song to be shaped into a heart and placed on a distressed piece of wood. ... Cut and staggered the barn wood, distressed it, and framed it all together with nice white frame! Made its way to Amherst to its new home!

I LOVE making farmhouse style signs but don’t really like working on canvas fabric so I started building my own from plywood and framing it in with pine. They can be stained or painted any colour. I have a few I’ve been working on with black & grey stain with a white frame, which I LOVE! Also I can make them any size I want to work for whatever project I’m doing! So much easier to make my own, not to mention cheaper! Here are a few I finished up for customers a while back.

It’s never too early to start thinking about camping season, especially with this great weather we’ve been having! David has a laugh when I draw out my ideas! Some of them are quite out there I am no artist like my daughter, Hailey that IS FOR SURE! She did not get that talent from her mama! But I need to see it on paper before I start so it is what it is! Hey it’s been working for me so far! This shelf I finished recently for a customer to display Hot Wheels on, personalized with her son’s name. I put a little forward slant on the shelves so you could see the Hot Wheels better.

Lots of projects on the go today on the workbench! Working on some welcome rounds, a couple of pretty red sparkly glasses for Valentine’s Day, and a cute little moose welcome sign! Can’t wait to show you these when they’re finished!

David had to go to work a day early and left me all alone, so I spent the day with my scroll saw! I definitely overworked her today! Happy Sunday Friends!

Let me tell you about this custom piece I recently finished!! LOVE! I had a lady contact me and want a poem, I Want To Age Like Sea Glass on a piece of beach wood. I have always had this idea I wanted to try ...epoxy sea glass on a window, so what a perfect time to try this. David & I presented her with the idea and off to work we went! We had an old (over 100 years old) window David salvaged from an old farm house we sanded it down and applied some grey chalk paint.... The lady had sent me some beautiful pieces of driftwood, shells, sea glass, sand & even a starfish from her favorite local beach to use. We chose a nice pearl mint vinyl for the lettering and Mermaid font, quite fitting I would say! Then covered the whole thing in epoxy! I am so happy with the final result and this is what she had to say about it when she received it this morning.. Omg Hannah! I can't even begin to tell you how much I love my window. I have no words. I almost burst into tears. It couldn't be more perfect. It was like you have known me for years and are inside my head. It is everything I could have wanted. It is perfect! Jeremy dropped it off yo me at work & I Ripped it open. I can't wait to get it home and put it on the wall. Thank you so much! Xo
