Thank you to our community for ALL the support with our winter endeavors!! Covid affected the wedding and entertainment industries especially hard, forcing many businesses to close. But I have to say, it was fun redirecting and branching out from weddings and events to try something new this year! We’ve completely sold out of everything except we have one wreath left with handmade aged bronze bells (message me if you want it). The last of deliveries will be wrapped up by Wednesday. As a small business owner, I can’t adequately express my appreciation to every one of you. Merry Christmas!

Designs in Bloom will be at the Merry Market this weekend and next! (Dec. 3-6 and Dec. 10-13) 100 Kellogg Thursday and Friday 6pm-10pm, Saturday 10am-8pm, Sunday 10am-5pm. We’re here and already love seeing many familiar faces making the season bright! (We’re in an adorable hut outside in the vendor village!)

It’s this time of year that I start to get really excited for spring flowers, including one of my favourites: peonies!! Peonies look amazing incorporated into bouquets with other blooms but they are stunning enough to shine all on their own. There’s something I love about the simplicity, elegance and ohhhhh the amazing scent of a full peony bouquet!! Which spring flower is your favourite?

This a very sweet, simple bouquet but I could stare at the gorgeous 'ruffley' texture inside the garden roses all day! Isn't nature amazing that these actually grow like this?! And if you could smell them through your screen...divine!

Maybe it's because the fall season is here and we're moving away from bright and summery...And maybe because I just saw an advertisement for Hallmark Christmas movies to begin soon... Whatever the reason, I feel like lighting a fire and getting cozy, and these moody, rich tones are catching my eye lately.
