Due to COVID and our high-demand of service, we're unable offer RV winterization appointments and last minute drop-ins this fall. Our storage and winterization packages will still be available. We apologize for the inconvenience this year. To make up, we put together a brief diagram explaining the GENERAL CONCEPT of "How to Winterize Your RV". Remember that all RVs are slightly different, however the general process is the same. **Need antifreeze? Instock, only $5.61+tx per 1... GAL jug.** --STEP BY STEP - HOW TO WINTERIZE YOUR RV-- 1. (A) - Open the pressure relief valve on your water heater. (B) Remove the water heater drain plug. (C) Bypass the water heater holding tank. NOTE: could be 3 valves or 2 valves in different locations. Remember which direction your changing them to. Don't forget to turn them back next spring or immediately after winterizing. 2. (A) Drain the fresh water holding tank. Typically found under the trailer, between the frame. 3. (A) Remove the water line feeding the water pump, from the fresh water holding tank. (B) Install a new water line with a hose going to the antifreeze jug. (C) Turn on water pump. NOTE: you should see antifreeze going through water pump. 4. (A) Open all facuets, outside showers and flush the toilet. Run each valve until you see "pink" antifreeze. Don't forget both hot and cold side of each facuet. Pour remaining antifreeze into each sink and tub drain. Is your RV different? Confused? Don't worry, some models stump us too. Call or email for help.
