Detimdale Holsteins

July was a busy month at Detimdale, the weather was wet and some times stormy. In between the rains we finished first cut and started second cut. Carolyn Turner from Holstein classified our herd and we were very pleased with the results, it was a excellent day. Thanks to Dorian the cows were clipped. We fished at Slave, made a quick trip to Banff and celebrated friends and families birthdays.

Our new herd arrives about this time every night. They love the oats silage.

Thank you to everyone who sent calf names starting with the letter "D". I will keep them all as a resource for d names. Our Detimdale Broker Darbie family is a great cow family for us, Detimdale Drama who calved on Sunday is one of her daughters. Every offspring of this cow family has a name that starts with D. Today we still have 60 plus females that have roots back to Darbie. Thanks again
