Great walk in the Devon river valley today!

Wonderful walk at Chickakoo today - thanks everyone for turning out! The weather cooperated and there were only small mud patches to skirt around!

A club favourite CHICKAKOO LAKE tomorrow (15th) 9:30 registration! look forward to seeing you there!

An invitation to walk by the Wascana Wanderers! Summer is always busy but walking along the south Saskatchewan in Saskatoon and around Wascana Lake in Regina ...is special! And it is always great to join another club's party! If we get 30 people agreeing to go, we would call hotels and the bus company and try to make it happen. A plan could look like this: Depart St Albert Friday Aug 2 2 nights in Regina 1 night in Saskatoon or Moose Jaw 6 walks Cost would be about $525 double occupancy. Thank you Tobi for coming up with such an amazing walk - TUESDAY JULY 2nd 9:30 registration - at UofA BOTANIC GARDEN. 5k will go straight into gardens. 10k will be bussed down the hill in waves of 20 at a time. Be prepared to spend time (took me 3 hours as I wanted to see more!)... We will stamp you (honour system) on your way in so you can spend as long as you like. We do have a ‘fast march’ route for anyone just looking for steps (I got 20,000!) Bring cash or credit card: Garden entry: -over 65s $6.89, -adults $9.45 Bus for 10k $5 There is a cafe with light food and great ice cream. Gift shop. Within the garden there is a free shuttle service - look for ‘BEE LINE’ signs. Don’t miss the butterfly house! Bring your camera!!! See more
