From Ms Lambert... Division 6 kids having fun in the rain at Laity Farms on Monday and helping out with the Halloween Hand fundraiser at school.

Ms. Biggerstaffs pumpkin patch field trip from last week... The students were able to walk along the dyke to a neighbourhood pumpkin patch. Despite the rain, kids had a great time meeting all of the wonderful animals.

From Ms Biggerstaff.. Here are some photos of our trip to the slough from this week. We have been learning about sturgeon in our class using the popular and well-loved book Tale of a Great White Fish. At the end of the book we went down to the slough to measure out how long a sturgeon would be around 160 years old. They grow to be around 6 meters. We measured right by the water to help us envision the size of the pre-historic fish.
