I was posting earlier today about buying locally and saw this post from Steveston Merchants Association that I wanted to re-post. Just take a moment to check with merchants in your community to see if they have the item(s) you're looking for. Some stores will provide touchless shopping, others will assist you and pull items from the shelf so the time you spend in the store is minimized and others will deliver to your door. Think local, buy local.

I've been a part of many campaigns over the years and by far this was the most fun I've had. Margaret and I were able to get to know some business owners a little better, we were able to help give businesses some extra exposure and most importantly we hopefully helped remind us all to shop locally. The business owners in our community employ your friends and their kids, they donate to countless giveaways for our soccer and hockey clubs, they donate to our school programs(Ste...veston Seafood House) and they spend their money in the communities we live in. Promise me, Margaret and your neighbours that you'll continue to focus buying locally now and throughout the year. Happy Holidays and let's make 2021 the best year yet.
