Congrats COATV!! This took some time, Thanks for staying the course!
To the person whom ran over "our" swan on our trail near Chatsworth.. not only are these Swans the pride of our club, and a pleasure for people and visitors to view and see in their natural habitat... These are a protected species. A conviction for harming one of these animals could lead to an extremely heavy fine, or imprisonment. The Swan died, she was one of the originals from the re introduction program 13 years ago... This is very upsetting to us at DGATV and our trail stakeholder friends. Anyone having any knowledge of the incident please report it to OPP or MNR..

Know the Quad Rules? Before heading out on the trail, make sure you know the rules. Ride safely and responsibly. Remember that size matters. Quads are not "one-...size-fits-all". Ensure you and your fellow riders are operating a quad that is appropriate for your age, weight, and riding ability. The Canadian Quad Council (CQC) represents riders across Canada and supports safe and accessible quading. #QuadRules https://quadcouncil.ca/atv-safety/
Memorabilia: Dufferin Grey ATV's Very first parade float sign from July 2006.. Displayed at the 2016 OFATV AGM, hosted by DGATV in 2016.. (10 years). In 2006, the club was new, with only a few Km's of trail at the time... The sign then demonstrated the desire, potential, and a hopeful future of ATV trails in our area.. It now represents the successful work of all the many volunteer's whom contributed toward the goals of creating a sustainable trail system.. The sign is safely stored away for our next anniversary year.. 2026.
