Ain’t that the truth! Where my side sleepers at?! *insert image of cheesy infomercial* Side sleeping is the number one cause of uneven shedding! ... Sleeping on your side causes friction between your lashes & the fibres from your pillow causing them to snag & prematurely shed. When you have lash extensions, sleeping on your back is always recommend to avoid uneven shedding. There are some things you can do to help keep your lashes intact while sleeping: - Use a domed eye mask made for extensions to protect them from rubbing - Use a silk pillowcase. This is not only good for your lash extensions, but also benefits your hair & skin! - Wash your lashes before bed to ensure they’re nice and clean. Washing again in the morning will help to remove any buildup from sleeping - Keep your pillowcase clean! Our pillows collect oil and bacteria from our face & hair. Wash your pillowcases weekly at the minimum!
