This almost mama

years of being a business owner! Warning: long post ahead I like acknowledging this day to reflect on my business-to think about what works and what doesn’t work, and to look for opportunities for growth and change. January 14th 2019, was the day that I left my full time marketing job to pursue photography (and I was scared shitless). It has been an absolute whirlwind of an experience especially after this last year-almost one full out year out of two of my business was... in lockdown (and I am oddly thankful for that). My business has pivoted multiple times in the past year and I have learned so much. One of the biggest surprises of the year was my new line of prints @dhorvathprints which I could’ve never predicted prior to the pandemic. I had to find a new way to do what I love while staying home. I absolutely love working with my clients, creating fun and meaningful art for their homes. As always, I am so thankful to the incredible people that my business has opened me up to. Amazing clients and mentors who I am lucky to now consider friends. And one more thing this year has taught me as a business owner, is to take time off and to rest! And this has opened me up to a new love... I love TV (especially @schittscreek) If you knew me before, I never watched TV and it was one of my weirdest quirks. I am so thankful for all of the support and love I have received over the last two years! Looking forward to what 2021 will bring!
