Two years ago we collaborated with Ji Sharp Yehia of Road Waves to put together a song for clients of ours. Bobby and Callies wedding was one for the books, one of the highlights of 2018 (there were a lot) and just an overall great memory.

One year ago this morning, we started principal photography on Lost Signal - 2020. We had a day full of sunny shots planned and I (Jesse F. D'Hulster) remember waking up to rain rain and more rain. Delaying the shoot to the afternoon, we ended up having the most glorious (& Hot) sunny afternoons. It was the start of something special. I have said before, filmmaking is an addicting magic that few people get the opportunity to experience. This short film has opened our eyes to... what we’re truly capable in creating. The talent from everybody involved was phenomenal and I would do it again in a heartbeat. It was Walt Disney that said We don’t make movies to make more money. We make money to make more movies. We agree with that. Even if we don’t make a dime from our most recent endeavour, that will not stop our plans for future projects. Every time we make something it’s magic no matter what the project is about. There’s still a ton of new ideas we have on the shelf and whether it’s a short film or working towards a feature in the future, when given an opportunity, we will deliver excellence and never quit. I just shot a wedding yesterday that was supposed to be in December. God knows this year has been filled with ups and downs, and the bride and groom decided to move their winter wedding to August. (Their engagement photos below reflect the winter aspect). It was great to get back to wedding photography over the past few weeks. I cherished yesterday as a return to form. It's a weird year for DH Media, and it doesn't seem like it will get any less weird. Stay hungry, Stay foolish, Stay safe.

Well It's April 17th. What better way to celebrate today then by posting a Christmas Commercial from Mugs N Meeples Board Game Lounge and Escape Rooms. It's one of Jesse F. D'Hulsters favourites, and I think it's a perennial classic for us.

In April 2016, Jesse F. D'Hulster and Teela Airdrie got the opportunity to fly to the Dominican Republic to shoot a wedding. These memories make me smile.

Today we are going back. Way back. Back in 2013, Jesse F. D'Hulster decided it was time to try something new. Jesse, Justin M. DeCoene and the other fun cast of characters decided to try their hand at a sitcom pilot! Fun Fact, this show was one of the first Canadian Kickstarters! It was also one of the first Canadian Kickstarters to fail!

It's weird to think we've been around for 5 years. These were from our first year in 2015. These photos were the beginning of what we are today. These photos were the ones that made us think: Well this is a pretty cool job!

We were sad to have to cancel our easter photos, but we have received overwhelming positive feedback from all our customers and every single on of our booked clients have been understanding and have graciously allowed us to reschedule our shoot instead of refund. That's a blessing to a small business! Thanks!

With the recent news regarding Covid-19 we at DH Media thought it would be best to reschedule our Easter shoots. The fact of the matter is we had a big day planned with lots of patrons and customers and we would much rather reschedule and keep everybody, including our cute little Easter bunny , safe.
