Find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life Mark Twain It was a beautiful day (in terms of work ethic, help and comradery) to pre wean calves and go for a family ride.

Thanks Kale, Kallista and Max for stopping in the other day. What a bucket list opportunity for anybody, any age, to tour operations of this magnitude.

Had the privilege of having Kale and Kallista Chessor and Max Burris out this morning to look at some angus heifer calf pairs. The Chessor family are amazing, hard working folks and have always been huge advocates for our Summer Synergy program. Added bonus today, it’s Kallista’s birthday ..... what better way to spend your birthday than looking at cows???

You get to see the most beautiful scenery ever imagined living in this vast, complex, exquisite Country of ours. Quit watching the news, get off of #Instafacechattweet , stop Tik Toking and get out to smell the crisp air, see the robust view, pull a carrotout of a garden, wipe it on your pants and eat the darn thing. Enjoy life, live life, support local businesses, and love your family and friends. ... Go out and have a kick ass day!!!

Today in the classroom!!! We harvested a couple beef yesterday and the kids were extremely curious and wanted to learn. Dad, where does the T-bone come from? How is hamburger made? What’s that yummy meat mommy makes on the smoker that everyone in the area smells and come over for? (The brisket... by the way) The kids sat on those three chairs for hours yesterday watching and learning about food safety, grading quality and the entire meat process from our local butcher. ... Shop Local, Support Local but most importantly.... EAT BEEF!

Bittersweet and Nostalgic!!!! We love our new place closer to family and the main T ranch, truly, ITS EUPHORIA! But this summer we have the opportunity to crop share our old place back from great people, Craig & Becky McPhee. ... There are a ton of memories flooding back as we go round and round in the hay field and drive around the place where Cal grew up and H-man was born. Taking a quick minute on this holiday Monday to reflect and reminisce. What memories make you have Nostalgia?

Had a great visit with one of Canada’s exciting, young, passionate cattlemen last. Matt Trefiak and his family own and operate MJT Cattle Company. A highly efficient, calving ease, performance herd of Angus & Hereford cattle. We appreciated his modern, forward thinking view on topics and how refreshing his perspective is on our Canadian agriculture future.

Had a great visit a couple of days ago with Scott Bohrson about fall sales and the Angus Collection lineup. With some of the fall and winter events under postponement, this years offering at Collection could be the best to date. Watch for exciting genetics being offered from the Bohrson Team!
