BEFORE AND AFTER....Just a little extra editing

JUST A FEW PICS FROM OUR CHRISTMAS MINIS. What a difference one week makes. Saturday was like a cool fall sunny day but sadly I had to postpone Sundays shoot to the following weekend because of the rain. The flurries we had all day made it more challenging to photograph and a little chillier for the models but I like the winter elements and the colour contrast in the Christmas photos. Shout out to my friend Carol Leitch and her husband Mark....Thanks so much for allowing me to use their beautiful property and for the time they put in cleaning, setting up and keeping the fire pit stoked. Mark, thank you for the hours you worked on refurbishing our Santa’s sleigh. You did a fantastic job!!!!! Thanks to Santa and his elves for spending the full day helping to bring out the smiles of all the wee ones.

It's been a fun 6 weeks of grad photography and editing. Congratulations graduates of 2020. May you all have exciting and successful adventures ahead.

Yay!....we finally got the green light!! It’s not quite business as usual but it’s all good. I’m still booking lots of outdoor shoots while abiding by the 6ft distance restrictions. Studio sessions will be available intermittently to allow for sanitizing between photo shoots. I look forward to working together and creating precious memories for you

Studio couch redone: I picked this piece up for free last summer but wasn’t fond of the dusty rose and preferred a more neutral colour. I had nothing to lose and decided to chalk paint fabric for the first time. Two cans of paint, a layer of wax and some light sanding in between, it’s complete!!! Chalk painting fabric certainly doesn’t replace reupholstering but it’s less expensive and for now serves the purpose in my studio (Shout-out to Aether Boutique & Studio for the curb side pickup on a Good Friday @aetherforlife)
