It's Small Business Week. Unfortunately amidst the grind of the day to day many small business owners forget to prioritize planning for what will happen to the business if they are unable to run it (through death or disability). Did you know that in some women's lifetime (anyone older than 91), they would not have been considered a legal person? This reminds me that it is critical for all of us to do our part to make sure the rights and freedoms we have put in place for peaceful co-existence as a society are not taken for granted, and that we all make an effort to speak out in decrying anyone who decides they want to trample these rights at will in a reckless vigilante way.
