We truly can’t do it without them, and this year that has been more true than ever before. Our volunteers have pitched in to help us follow new safety protocols, to offer food security programming, to help get our swap shop up and running and so much more. You are all priceless.

Good afternoon. As COVID cases rise in the community, the effects are felt everywhere, Including Amity House. We have a number of staff in isolation. It has now impacted our capacity to provide services-we just don’t have enough people. Therefore, Amity House will be closed today as of 2:00 PM and remain closed until Tuesday at 8:30 AM. This means we will NOT have bread tomorrow or Monday. If you need assistance urgently, we can be messaged here or call 211 to find services. Have a good weekend, stay safe and we will see you next week.

This December, we are able to offer more subsidized WeCan Food Basket Society baskets. The baskets will be $10 (Reg $25) and must be ordered by Monday December 6. Baskets will arrive December 17. Baskets contain fruit, vegetables and meat-let us know if you’d like to request no pork. If you’d like a basket, let us know ASAP! Again, to ensure we can reach as many people as possible, we can offer 1 subsidized basket/person.

We have 10 more baking bundle spots available!! As before, there’s a limit of 1/person.
