These paintings of the same subject, in Winter and Spring, were done as part of a serial art exhibition at The Bookshelf Green Room, in Guelph curated by Eric Allen Montgomery. The exhibition started on December 21st with Winter. The Spring display was to be hung on March 22nd, but unfortunately Covid 19 reared its head and things came to a halt. My Winter painting has sold. Spring will be in my upcoming show at the The Vault Coffee & Espresso Bar in Fergus, Ontario, opening the 2nd week of July.

These are a couple of experiments with Cobra Water soluble oil colours. The ability to reactivate the dry paint with a water spray results in some interesting visual effects. I'm hoping that we'll have hanging space for at least one of these in my upcoming show The Vault Coffee & Espresso Bar in Fergus Ontario.

"Dandelions" is all about spring and new life. These "critters" are residents of the cow-calf farm at the corner of 1st Line and River Rd. here in Elora. They can be viewed in my studio during the Elora/Fergus Studio tour. I hope to see you. We have cookies.

There are only a few farms in the Elora area where cattle of any kind can be found grazing in the fields. Not many farmers are keeping beef cattle which these cattle in my painting "Spring" are. And, dairy cattle are now being kept indoors in 'loafing barns'. "Spring" is an oil painting 12" x 24" and is on view in my studio during the Elora/Fergus Studio Tour.
