I've got a new recipe out. It's inspired by my trip to Ikea this week, and subsequent veggie dog purchasing in their market. https://www.lucyluong.com/p/scandinavian-themed-buddha-bowl #buddhabowl #veganbowls #ikea #recipes #wfpbrecipe #plantbasedrecipe #veganrecipe #vegetarianrecipe #scandinavian #nutritionpowerhouse #nutrientdenserecipe #sohealthy #greens #spinach #yycdietitian #developedincalgary

Vitamin D is a supplement I recommend for everyone in Canada, especially during winter! More evidence is coming out connecting Vitamin D to asthma, heart failure, autoimmune diseases, and immunity. This is also important to note for those who live in sunny climates but don't spend much time outside and for those with darker skin as fewer UV rays penetrate darker skin. Those who wear more clothes for religious reasons may also be at a higher risk of deficiency. For more information:https://nutritionstudies.org/important-vitamin-d-facts-ne/
