As promised... my own version of the thai peanut sauce I used for my chicken Thai salad
I just had to share one last recipe with you all - Thai Peanut Chicken Salad This one is a great for meal prep & here is what you need Rotisserie chicken... Quinoa Chopped veggies of choice Peanut sauce Mix all your ingredients together & you have yourself a delicious lunch This recipe is so versatile! You could use noodles instead of quinoa or leftover shredded chicken breast. I used shredded carrots & cabbage, red peppers & cucumbers What to add a kick? Drizzle over some sriracha! Who wants the peanut sauce recipe!?
GUILT IS NOT AN INGREDIENT. There are no such things as 'guilt-free' foods, just like there is no such thing as 'clean' food. The phrase 'guilt-free' insinuates that other foods are worthy of guilt - or you are, when you eat them. It's a terrible way to think about food and eating, and a terrible way to make yourself feel.
We had so much cheese leftover from the Christmas holiday... I figured what’s better than some fancy grilled cheese Paired with a roasted root vegetable soup.. this is comfort food perfect for a cold winter day
Happy Holidays!! A December snow fall is truly magical I’m definitely feeling in the Christmas Spirit today!... With that being said - I’ll be on vacation from December 21st until January 4th, 2021. But I’m still hoping to get some great holiday content to share with you all; especially some delicious recipes for my favourite holiday treats! Stay tuned!
Christmas baking is underway! First up - Christmas Crack All you need is:... 1 cup of butter 1 cup of brown sugar 1 sleeve of saltine crackers 1 heaping cup of chocolate chips Toppings of choice I melt the butter and brown sugar together, bring to a boil for 3-4 mins. Pour evenly over your saltine crackers (that are laid out on a foil covered baking pan) and bake at 300C for 5-6 mins. Top with your chocolate chips & allow them to warm up before spreading. Add your fave toppings (I used skor bits) and allow to cool! Keep these stored in the refrigerator I know this isn’t your typical healthy recipe but I needed to share a holiday goodie that I absolutely love! Have you made these before?
