people tend to envision maternity photos in a long gown, in a pretty field when it's warm outside - and it's a great look! BUT something just tickles me the right away about doing the complete opposite.... how about keeping eachother warm + cozy, bundled up in your seasonal attire, walking through a freshly powdered forest around christmas time???? my heart is so full for these two, who's wedding I photographed just a couple short years ago!!! would you do a maternity session in a winter wonderland forest?

when I showed up to D + J’s place last night, they greeted me on the driveway, sipping twisted teas out of a straw....it was a pretty good indication we were about to have a reaaallll good time we ran around their gorgeous country home, twirling, singing, laughing, dancing, and literally being DUMB together!!!! when I first spoke with D I knew we were gonna be an amazing match, and hearing about the love story I was about to photograph had me frickin PUMPED. I knew I love...d her, but...showing up to J’s old school camera collection just blew me away further, you knowwwww I had them run around with those too, hehehehe!!! thank you for being so kind, hilarious, welcoming and a downright blast to hangout with you guys. and for the amazing treats you gave me...my heart is so fulllll after last night and I’m so grateful for you!!!
