I can’t express how valuable this is. A lot of dogs don’t naturally have self soothing and coping skills. Relaxing on their own is hard. ... Being away from you is stressful. Doing nothing is a skill that needs to be learned for many. Building self coping skills using mat work and a tether is something so simple to do with puppies but hugely overlooked. The younger you start, the easier to build new, desirable habits that will help your dog be successful throughout his/her life. Rewarding good choices now, will significantly decrease frustration later.

Frido is leash reactive with dogs so out and about will be a large part of his training. He’s smart and is catching on quickly!
