IMPORTANT INFORMATION AHEAD! We are happy to report that Backpack Buddies has received a tremendous amount of support this year which has allowed us to be able ...to provide families in our community with some back-to-school supplies. We are required to do things a little different this year to ensure the safety of our families amid Covid, so please read the details below on how we will proceed. - The event will take place between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm, Monday August 24th and Tuesday August 25th at 20 Brady Street at Brady Storage Solutions - You are required to REGISTER by calling Lynne at 705-677-0440 ext 223 - Registrations will be accepted until next Friday, August 14th. Please leave a detailed message and we will call you back within the week to confirm your registration - You will be provided a time to come and pick up your pre selected bag based on the information provided during registration - No walk-ins allowed. Must be registered to receive a bag - Bags are provided and/or filled based on the donations received. Not all bags will contain the same items - It is important to respect the time you are provided in order to avoid any issues. If you do not arrive at the time provided to you, you will be required to return at the end of the day - Bags will be handed out as a curbside pickup. We ask that you wait for a staff member to approach you when you arrive, at which point your bag will be placed on the table for pick up - We encourage only one person per family to come pick up the bag if possible - Masks are required as well as respecting the social distancing guidelines - Hand Sanitizer will also be provided on site If you do not feel well, have travelled recently or exhibit any Covid symptoms, we ask that you stay home. - Any additional questions or concerns you may have can be discussed upon registration Wishing you a safe and happy return to school!
