Single-family homes, particularly in the 905 areas around GTA continued to drive the housing market. The supply of single-family homes remained constrained resulting in strong competition between buyers and double-digit price increases, said TRREB chief market analyst Jason Mercer. In contrast, growth in condo listings far-outstripped growth in sales. Increased choice for condo buyers ultimately led to more bargaining power and a year-over-year dip in average condo selling prices during the last few months of the year." Happy New Year Everyone! We made it! It is finally the end of 2020 and on to 2021!... I know we are all ready to move on from this year. 2020 was definitely a learning experience for many of us. We have tried to adapt to a new way of interacting with people, a new way of working and made changes to our daily lives. Everyone suddenly started working from home, meetings became virtual and even the kids started school sitting in front of the computer. As challenging as this year has been, I'm grateful. I'm grateful to be alive and healthy. I'm grateful for my family and for their health and safety. I'm grateful to have a home to live in and be safe in. I'm grateful for all the essential workers that continue to put their lives on the line. Thank you! I am grateful to have amazing friends/clients that allowed me to help them find a new home during this pandemic. It has been a tough year, but we got through it together!
