Samsung washers exploding......NOT !!! Ive now seen 2 articles saying Samsung woes continue from their new phones catching on fire and now their washers exploding!!! So as usual, media is sensationalizing a situation in order to sell their article or click-bait for their site.... Yes, Samsung top load washers are having catastrophic failures but they are NOT exploding. The washer has 4 shock absorbers that once have failed causes the machine to bash itself to pieces while in the final spin. The upgrade to these shocks has been out for at least a few months but without the washer under warranty the repair would be billable. Like in many other industries, once it has reached a public safety hazard status, it goes to court and a recall is started. Then the machine whether warranty or not is fixed or replaced without costing the consumer. Tis the world we live in. It would have been nice if the upgrade was done voluntarily like some other companies do.

If 1 shot of detergent is good, then 8 is better? Not even sure if this is what happened. Maybe one of the kids forgot a bottle of the blow bubble solution in their pocket.

This is why i recommend to wash pillows by hand rather than in the washing machine. This pillow blew up, plugged the pump and caused the washer to flood as the pillow debris messed up the fill sensor.

Does your hood fan suck?..... but not in a good way? New hood fans are roughly $180 for a decent model with good power and average noise level. Basic install when no venting or cabinet modifications required gets done in about half an hour!!! A great upgrade to your kitchen.
