Dip N’ Clip Pet Groomings policies Late Arrivals: Time is reserved to be able to groom your dog! I am only able to perform the grooming services for your pet in the time allotted for your scheduled appointment. If you are more than 15 mins late to your appointment, I may not be able to perform your grooming services so I can stay on schedule with my other clients. If time allows, an additional fee of $15 will be added to your bill.... NO Shows: A missed appointment is a loss of income to a small business. If an appointment is missed without a 12 hour notice, a $30 fee will be charged and a deposit of 50% of the grooming cost may be required to reschedule a future appointment. Late pick ups: I ask that you pick up your pet within 30 mins of the call/text I send when they are ready. If you are late, an additional fee will be added to accommodate the time spent caring for your pet until you arrive. A $15 fee will be added to your bill after a 30 mins grace period unless otherwise arranged with me. Not happy with the groom: I give my clients 7 days if they get home and are not happy with the groom and would like something different done. If it is past the 7 days then you will be charged for another full groom I will be answering messages and phone calls/voicemails between the hours of 9am-4pm Monday to Friday. I will answer any messages/voicemails that I receive over the weekend on Sunday evening Thank you for your understanding and cooperation

Hey everyone as some of you know my pup was recently diagnosed with bone cancer and had to have his leg amputated. He is doing really well since the surgery and he has now started his chemotherapy treatments. I have put together a little gift basket to raise money to help with the cost of the treatments and our travel costs back and forth to Guelph. Hi everyone just wanted to let everyone know that Rex is doing great since his amputation surgery and he recently had his staples out. The next step is for him is to start his chemo treatments which begin next week. I will be travelling back and forth down south for these treatments as it is the only place that will do the chemotherapy. I can’t thank everyone enough who has already donated which helped pay for the surgery. Anything helps and I appreciate it so much! Hi everyone, as some of you know my poor pup had to have his leg amputated due to cancer. His surgery was yesterday and we picked him up today. He is doing very good and resting lots. I just wanted to let everyone know that I am still booking clients while he recovers. But I won’t be booking as many in a day as I was, so I will be able to keep an eye on him.

Hey everyone I'm not normally one to post something like this but most of you have heard our poor boy was diagnosed with bone cancer in his front leg. We want to do whatever we can for him because he is so young still. We have spent a lot already on having the tests done to determine what it is. We have been travelling back and forth to Toronto and the next step for our poor boy is to have his leg amputated. This is going to be another costly surgery so that is why I am reaching out to all of you. Anything will help during these times and we really appreciate the help!

Dear clients I just wanted to let you all know that I am trying my best to get everyone booked in around my schedule! I am booking as many as I can for the next two weeks but need to keep a couple days open incase I have to bring my pup back to Toronto for surgery. Dear Dip N’ Clip clients As most of you have heard we have been given the go ahead to start grooming as of Tuesday May 19 with social distancing restrictions. Please bare with me as I know there will be a lot of people needing an appointment. I am going to try my best to get as many dogs as I can in but with the restrictions I still won’t be able to do as many dogs in a day as I used to. So be prepared for it to take a little longer to get in. I am contacting everyone who’s a...ppointment had to be cancelled first and then will be messaging everyone on my list to get you all booked in. Dear Dip N’ Clip clients I just wanted to pop on and say that if you wanted to be put on my list for grooming appointments when I am able to start again, you can send me a message or comment on this post and I will add you to it! I hope everyone is staying safe and I can’t wait to start grooming all your furry friends again!

Dear clients 1. Make sure you are brushing your dog every day With a comb, not a slicker, not a pin brush. Get it RIGHT down to the skin, every stroke. If you can't get your comb down to the skin, chances are your pup is already matted. Make sure to brush EVERYWHERE. Yes brushing between the legs is awkward, but it is necessary. The first places your pup is going to Matt up is between the front legs and the back legs! (Picture in comments of greyhound comb) 2. If you pup is ...matted- DO NOT pull from the skin up to break down the matting. It's painful and they’ll likely never forgive you. Start from the ends of the matting and work at it slowly. If you don't feel you can brush them out, your pup is going to need to be shaved. If your dog is matted and you opt not to brush it out, do not BATHE it. Bathing will make the matting tighter! 3. Owners- when you get back to regular grooming and haven't brushed your dog during the entire self isolation period...it is NOT your groomers fault your dog had to be shaved. If you can't brush your dog in the 3weeks-3months we've been gone please don't berate us for not doing it in 3 hours 4. NAIL TRIMS are important. If your dog's nails are starting to curl and changing the way your dog's foot sits it has been WAY to long. Simply start by just taking little bits off the nail. You might quick your dog, it happens. If you do quick your pup apply some corn starch and pack it in! Most dogs don't even notice. If you don't freak out they don't freak out. Lastly when we are able to start grooming again please be patient with your groomer because there is going to be lots of dogs needing to get in. We're going to be busy and we can only do so many dogs in a day. Dogs are going to be wild, many of them off of their regular schedule. They will require extra time and patience from us, don't rush the process. We want to get every one of your pets done, but we're still human. We need lunch breaks, bathroom breaks and all the coffee we can get to get through the day. I miss you and your pets and hope to get back on schedule very soon

Hi everyone I just wanted to give you all a quick update on my new shop. It is officially ready to work from! That being said once I am able to start grooming again I will be working from my new location which is at 2660 Four Mile Lake rd. I will keep everyone updated on when I can start taking bookings again! I will also be posting more information about the daycare and pet sitting service I will be offering. I hope everyone is staying healthy and safe and I can’t wait to get back to grooming your fur babies again!

Dear Clients As most of you are probably following Covid 19 the government has mandated that all non-essential business are to close as of tomorrow March 24 at 11:59pm. I will be following these guidelines in the attempt to flatten the curve of Covid 19. I will be closing Dip N’ Clip pet grooming effectively at 5pm on March 24, 2020 for the 2 week mandated closure. For the clients I have had booked for the next two weeks I will be contacting you to reschedule your appointm...ent! I thank you all for your understanding and hope everyone stays safe!
