This weekend, Richard learned what it took to taste the junior podium at a National Cup level , while Anthony got his first real taste at U23 racing (and especially the Mexican heat and dust ). Dieppe, NB, deserves a spot on the Canadian cycling and this spot just got bigger! After welcoming the National Cycling Centre for 16 years, after hosting no less than 6 nationals championships in 3 disciplines (road, cross and track), it is now time for the top mountain bikers to challenge St-Anselme’s Rotary Park. Very excited about this opportunity and thanks to Cycling Canada for the vote of support! We will make it a great event.

Courses du mardi soir le 1er septembre Chez les hommes élite A, Anthony Arseneau de Dieppe a répété son exploit pour la deuxième semaine consécutive avec une vi...ctoire suivant un chrono de 40m24,1 lors des courses de vélo de montagne du mardi présentées au Parc Rotary/Saint-Anselme, à Dieppe. Alex Haché a pris le deuxième rang avec un retard d’une minute et Réal Jaillet, troisième en 42m06,3. Samuel Beaupré et Jonathan St-Pierre ont suivi. Emilie Chloé McIntyre a été la plus rapide des femmes élite A avec un temps de 46m49,4. Leila Carter a suivi et Annik Bélanger était troisième. Le plus rapide des hommes B expert a été Mathieu Boucher, en un temps de 46m10,4 suivi de Marc LeBlanc, 20 secondes plus tard et Jeffrey Gaudet, 47 secondes derrière le gagnant. Pascal LeBlanc et Brandon Sellers ont suivi. Margot Bélanger a remporté la catégorie femmes B expert en 45m51,2. Caroline Belliveau était deuxième en 46m10,4 et Monique Dufour, troisième. Mélanie LeBlanc a pris le quatrième rang. Xavier Vautour (18m56,8) et Catherine Bélanger (18m58,2) ont remporté les honneurs des jeunes -16 ans gars et filles. Ryden Belliveau a été le plus rapide des gars -13 ans en 15m36,7 suivi d’Alexandre Caissie en 17m08,7 et de Julien Murdock en 17m54,1. Kamille Doiron a remporté la division filles en 19m02,9 et Laure-Anne Lang a fini deuxième. Le plus rapide des gars -11 ans a été Cade Belliveau, en 89m25,6. Vincent Viens a suivi et Joël Cormier était troisième. Annabelle Levesque et Janie Bélanger ont fini première et deuxième chez les filles en 11m06,7 et 11m44,6 respectivement.
