HI EVERYONE!!! Thank you for being so patient with me. It's been overwhelming attempting to make my one room shop as safe as possible. I am going to give things a try in the beginning of August. PLEASE don't ring my phone off the hook. I already have an extensive list of bookings to honor from when I first had to close in March and my voicemail is full of messages I just haven't gotten to yet. I WILL CONTACT CLIENTS VERY SOON TO ARRANGE THE FIRST APPOINTMENTS. Please continue... to be patient. There will be a lot of changes to keep everyone as safe as possible by avoiding client interaction as much as possible... such as NO POP INS!! I am asking you to wait until I call for you to pick up your dog(s), and to do that as soon as possible so I can take in the next clients without over populating the shop. The process will also take longer to accommodate the additional sanitization required throughout the process. It will be different and a learning curve for all of us. Hi Everyone! I am getting alot of calls and messages with everyone thinking that because Hairstylists have a tentative opening date that groomers are the same. We are not. The risk factors are quite different according to the few articles of information I have been able to find. The hair is the possible carrier on a dog, like a surface such as a door knob or counter top... Except when we are grooming a dog the hair flies and floats EVERYWHERE, including in our faces, even und...er glasses and into masks. This can also contaminate our equipment and shops and possibly unintentionally transfer from one dog to another. No matter how hard we try to contain it and clean you can't get every hair. There is just not enough information about it. Because of this, I am not ready to risk your families or mine. I will post and contact previously booked clients when things change. Take care!! HELLO EVERYONE!!! I am sad to say that I too am going to choose to temporarily join others in the service trades and close my doors for awhile to keep myself, my family and anyone else that I can safe. My apologies to those that have appointments booked for the next little while, but it is the best thing we can all do to help save lives of those we love as well as those we never meet. This is all bigger than any one of us and we must STAY APART in order to be able to come tog...ether once again in the future. I will attempt to contact everyone in advance. Please feel free to call me and check if you have questions. I will be checking my voicemail. Be patient and kind. Wash your hands properly and frequently.
