Awake my soul and sing. Sing His praise aloud. ONE YEAR AGO (yesterday) we held what would be the first and last Praise Nights of the year. God timing is so perfect. We were able to have an incredible night of praise and a time to encounter God without knowing or worrying what would happen the following week. We’ve missed having Praise Nights but we are so thankful for this very night last year. The world may look different but God is still good and His timing is perfe...ct. Side note: We have a special announcement in the next couple of days!

SO GOOD! We did a training on baptism, exploring all examples in the New Testament so that people could discover how the early church understood and practiced baptism. Baptism was meant to be the immediate response of faith to the gospel, an act of obedience to Christs call into discipleship, an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ (Acts 2:37-41, 1 Peter 3:21). The great commission also declares that we are not just meant to be b...aptized, but every disciple of Jesus has been called to become a baptizer. After going through all the scriptures on baptism in the New Testament one friend felt the urgency in Her heart from the Holy Spirit to obey and be baptized. So we filled up the tub and had a baptism party!! Acts 2:38 Peter replied, Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will recieve the gist of the Holy Spirit.

God is so good. Even with consistent change in our plans, God has always had a plan for this year. We were able to have a Praise Nights, train 257 people over 11 training events and outreach nights. Hundreds of people have clearly heard the Gospel, and hundreds of healing miracles have happened. We were also able to host outdoor worship events downtown this summer.... Important update regarding our outreach nights! We are changing outreach nights to Tuesday nights beginning on November 24 at the Bridge Youth Center (256 Brock st) to facilitate a new goal. On Tuesday Nights our team will be providing alternating OUTREACH nights and DISCIPLESHIP nights where you will learn simple evangelism tools, how to lead discipleship groups for new believers, and walk in your identity and authority as a Christian to pray for others, heal the sick and fo...llow the Holy Spirit into mission. It was a sheer JOY to partner with Lauren and her church (Edmison Heights Baptist Church) and equip them to share the Gospel to make disciples! God used them this past Saturday to pray for 10 people, share the full Gospel with 5 people, see a handful of healing miracles and saw one person get saved and baptized! What excites us the most is that these believers have simple tools and a culture that will Propel them into mission and obedience to Jesus! They are an incredible gr...oup of mature believers and we are so expectant to how God will use them to reach others with the Gospel! ALL FOR JESUS!
