The District of Ucluelet is pleased to share that two new trail connectors are now officially open, giving residents more outdoor opportunities during this unique Christmas season. The new Spring Cove Trail, located off Peninsula Road between Boardwalk Boulevard and Coast Guard Road, offers stunning views and interpretive signs, while the new Bay-Marine Connector Path provides a forest route to the Ucluelet Community Centre and Big Beach. Whether you are looking for access to... the tranquil beauty of Spring Cove or seek the crashing waves of Big Beach, the District wants to encourage residents to stay healthy this holiday season by getting outside as much as possible. The new Spring Cove Trail is a first step in the development of the Ucluelet Safe Harbour Trail, an inner harbour continuation of our famous Wild Pacific Trail, while the Bay-Marine Connector is the co-benefit of an important sewer infrastructure improvement for Bay Street. Happy Holidays and see you on the trails!
